The reusable flower crate perfectly complies with the new packaging regulations (PPWR)

Governments are imposing increasingly strict regulations regarding packaging waste and its environmental impact. One important piece of legislation in Europe is the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The PPWR is proposed European Union (EU) legislation that aims to reduce packaging pollution and promote a circular economy for packaging.

Several sectors, including the AGF and floriculture sectors, have set ambitious goals with each other to package their products more sustainably. When choosing packaging, factors such as choice of material, reusability and waste disposal play an important role. It is our job as specialists to help with this, including setting targets for sustainability and choosing suitable packaging that complies with current and future laws and regulations in various countries.
