Argos and Rojo Scaffolding; A rock-solid partnership

For 25 years there has been a rock-solid partnership between Rojo Steigerbouw and Argos. Since its establishment in 1982, Rojo Steigerbouw has grown into a major player in facade scaffolding construction in the Netherlands. With years of experience and a strong reputation in the construction industry, in recent years Rojo Steigerbouw has taken over the companies Post Steigers, Nivo Steigerwerken and Mol Lifting. To integrate these acquisitions, from the end of 2024 these companies will continue under one name: Scalar.

Within the construction industry, safety and reliability are crucial. We recently had the opportunity to take a look at one of Scalar's renovation projects: Residential tower De Witte Anna (77 meters high) in The Hague. For this impressive project, Argos supplied no less than 4760 m2 of scaffolding nets. Scaffolding nets prevent tools, debris and building materials from falling, limit dust spreading to adjacent buildings and ensure the safety of workers during the renovation of this tower in The Hague. Nice detail: the scaffolding nets are mounted in the colors of main contractor Dura Vermeer - yellow and green - coincidentally also the colors of The Hague.

What makes the cooperation between Scalar and Argos so ironclad? Fred Enterman, director at Scalar emphasizes the importance of trust and quality: “With more than 1,000 projects a year, consistent quality is the most important thing for us, and Argos delivers that. In addition, Sander Hegie lives up to his agreements. We know exactly what we have in common.

The new name Scalar means a name change in our systems, but the cooperation with Argos, where quality and reliability are of paramount importance, will not change and will only grow stronger.
