At Argos Packaging & Protection, we’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Professional who is hands-on and helps shape the continuous development of our marketing strategy. Someone who can switch between strategy and execution, values data as much as creativity, and brings colleagues along in our story. Together with your marketing teammates, you’ll keep building our brand, increase our visibility, and show the market why both customers and colleagues choose Argos.

You’ll work in a small, independent team consisting of a Content Marketer and an E-commerce Specialist. The Content Marketer focuses on growing our online visibility and manages our social channels, among other things. The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for the online customer portal, which will evolve into a fully fledged webshop for our customers in the near future. Together, you’ll drive the growth and development of the team.

As a team, you elevate marketing at Argos to the next level. You are the engine behind our positioning, lead generation, segment marketing, and employer branding. In your role, you’ll also be a regular sparring partner for the Commercial and HR teams.

Job description

  • Contribute to the development and safeguarding of the marketing strategy. You propose targeted plans and actions that support our objectives.
  • Set up campaigns from A to Z: from concept, channel selection, and briefing to execution and evaluation—always with a sharp eye on results.
  • Analyze data from campaigns and online channels and use insights to continuously improve our marketing.
  • Oversee the various marketing activities, stay continuously aware of what creates the most value at any given time, and coordinate proactively with other departments.
  • Guard our brand identity and ensure all our communications are consistent in look & feel, tone of voice, and visual identity.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners such as agencies, photographers, and printers, and manage them where needed.
  • Strengthen our online presence, from social media to the customer portal.
  • Use employer branding to position us as an attractive employer in the region and remain visible to new talent.
  • Monitor market developments closely, spot opportunities, and translate them into concrete marketing actions.
  • Organize (customer) events and trade fairs from start to finish: from concept to execution and evaluation.
  • Provide input on customer and market analyses and contribute ideas on how to strengthen Argos’ international positioning.

What do we ask of you?

  • Bachelor’s level of working and thinking, and an education in marketing, communications, or commercial economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an all-round B2B marketing role.
  • Experience switching between different segments is a plus.
  • You switch smoothly between hands-on execution and strategic thinking.
  • You’re creative, conceptually strong, and have a keen sense of brand experience.
  • You can translate data and insights into actions that deliver results.
  • You enjoy collaborating and achieving the best outcomes with your teammates—and you’re happy to take the lead when needed.
  • You’re familiar with digital tools (such as Spotler).
  • Strong writing skills, a good visual eye, and a clear sense of what works in content.
  • You feel at home in a dynamic, down-to-earth organization where no two days are the same.
