Argos paricipated in parade Varend Corso 2024!

This year, Argos had the honour of participating in the 25th edition of the Varend Corso in the Westland. An annual spectacle that revolves entirely around flowers, plants and vegetables presented in a unique way on boats that for three days sail through the waters of Delft, Maassluis, Vlaardingen, Schipluiden and the Westland, among others.Our preparations began a few months ago with a restored, 120-year-old Westland barge. After designing, preparing and building it up, last weekend was finally the day. For three days, our boat 'Smakelijk Verpakt' sailed past thousands of enthusiastic spectators who stood along the shore encouraging all the boats.
Together, we also stood along the shore on Saturday with family and friends to admire our Argos boat and all the other boats. While enjoying snacks, drinks and the sun, we all enjoyed all the beautiful boats that passed by. As icing on the cake, our boat was nominated and on Sunday we heard that we were awarded the Best Decor prize for newcomers. In short, a very successful weekend!
