Packaging with recycled material: ready for the future.

At Argos Packaging & Protection, we work daily on packaging designed for both the present and the future. We believe in sustainable packaging that is not only functional and protective but also contributes to a circular economy. For this reason, we actively strive to make our packaging more sustainable, not as a trend, but as an integral part of our services and product development.

Prepared for the Future (PPWR)  

The packaging world is changing rapidly. The new Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) within Europe focuses on less waste, more reuse, and a higher share of recycled material in packaging. An important development within this legislation is "Design for Recycling." This means that packaging must be designed to be easily recyclable. For many packages, this has major consequences: certain packaging materials or combinations may soon no longer be allowed on the market. 
 
Sustainability in Practice: Products with Recycled Material 

More and more of our products contain recycled content without compromising on quality or protection, such as: 

• Shrink film with recycled material 
• Hand wrap film with PCR 
• OPP film with PCR 
• Covers with PCR  

By using recycled materials, we reduce the demand for new fossil resources and give waste a second life. The use of recycled material thus contributes to a circular economy. 
 
Together making smarter use of resources 

We think beyond just the product. Together we look at how we can reduce material usage, where switching to recycled material is possible, and how we can optimize in design, transport, and processing. This way, together with our customers and partners, we make the packaging process smarter and more sustainable step by step.
