Yes, We did it! Winner of the MKB Westport Notarissen Entrepreneur Award 2022!

This was announced on Thursday evening during the end-of-year meeting of MKB Westland in the Oude Kerk in Naaldwijk. Jury chairman Lars Boellaard and MKB Westland chairman Shirley Schelkers presented the coveted trophy here after a thrilling final. It was extra special to be able to present the prize again in a festive manner at the familiar location. In addition to the Entrepreneur Award, we also received the theme award for "most innovative in the sector".

Jury chairman Boellaard briefly commented on the jury report: "The jury is very impressed by Argos' ability to innovative . Significant strides have been made in recent years; in terms of professionalism, turnover, number of employees, number of locations and in terms of approach to various industries. In everything, Argos radiates the ethos of "doing it together", the organisation is imbued with team spirit. In a field with relatively a lot of competition, Argos has managed to achieve a good market share. This happens every day by seeing opportunities in new materials, products and applications."

Furthermore, theme prizes were awarded to VS Cycling from 's-Gravenzande, a cycling specialist shop that is unparalleled in the region and perhaps even in the Netherlands. They won the theme prize "most distinctive in the industry". Kemeling Kunststoffen from Naaldwijk won the theme prize "Most socially-committed employer". They are an employer that not only puts its staff first, but also surprised the jury with its social efforts.

"The nominated companies were placed in the spotlight and put enterprising Westland on the map. This year it was once again difficult to choose a winner, as entrepreneurship runs in the blood of the Westlanders. A prize like this cannot be missed in this region.
